Rubens Road

A typical terraced house in the London suburb of Northolt was extended substantially to offer additional flexible open-plan space for the lounge and kitchen. The L-type extension provides both a dedicated outdoors seating area, dining area and TV/social/reading lounge. A small courtyard brings in daylight. The extensive green roof compensates for the loss of garden space.
