Christian is a registered architect and urban planner with 11 years international design and management experience. He has significant previous experience in the Chinese market, and prior to co-founding Urbanlogic in 2012, he set up and directed the China office for a German architecture & urban design firm.
Having worked as a design leader with both internationally renowned design studios Herzog & de Meuron and David Chipperfield and large-scale commercial companies in London and Hong Kong (Woods Bagot), he is able to understand, deliver and assess creative design solutions as well as the commercial requirements of projects.
Besides practising, Christian also worked as a researcher for the Commission of Architecture and the Built Environment (CABE) and the Urban Age conference in the UK. He is an Adjunct Professor at Shandong University and previously taught at the University of Greenwich and the University of Stuttgart. He is regularly invited to contribute to international conferences and professional training events in the field of sustainable urban development and urban design.
